Arachne/Spider-Woman (Timeline: Earth-79101)

In this world, Arachne stands trial for the murder of Nick Fury, SHIELD Director. Count Otto Vermis testifies that Arachne can not be tried because she is not human but a mutated spider. Shocked and angered, Arachne grabs Vermis and claims he knows more than what he was saying and throws him at the SHIELD agents, knocking them down as she escapes out the window.

Six months later, Arachne mets up with Andre, an informant. He tells her that he has no new information concerning Wundagore Mountain or the people who had once lived there. Andre secretly pulls a gun and Arachne defends herself and shoots him with her venom blast. She says to herself that even though she has to hire criminals to discover the truth about her past, she does not trust them. She knows that she has to leave Paris soon as SHIELD would soon be after her. She flies off into the moonlight.
